His role involved selling large scale, multi-site ERP projects based on Microsoft Dynamics AX and Junction’s specialist add-on software to large distribution businesses. With a particular emphasis on the Food & Beverage sector, the scope of his role was to identify prospective new customers and manage the entire sales process through to contract signature and handover to the delivery team.
Ian was recruited specifically for his experience in selling large and complex solutions to the food and beverage sector and he immediately added value through his knowledge of the sector and contacts within the industry. He was able to bring immediate leads to us, some of which continue to be on-going sales opportunities. He is experienced and professional in his approach and developed good relationships within his immediate team and also the wider Junction organisation. He also developed strong relationships with customers and partners, gaining the trust and confidence of their senior management.
Ian played important roles in securing new business and in particular a successful Proof of Concept project with a major food service business which led to significant revenue and a major sales opportunity selling the first phase of a group project which is still on-going. Overall, he made a significant contribution to Junction’s business and specifically the development of our food and beverage practice.
